A Very Revealing Cake

Apparently it's  big trend to have cakes that reveal the gender of a baby for expecting couples--a neutral colored outside and then once cut you discover either a pink or blue cake or filling.  I hadn't heard of this until I got an order for one, but then again I don't necessarily hang out in groups of expecting couples either...

I was invited to stay for the reveal, but I was so worried that since I was the only person in the room who knew the sex of the baby, I would blurt something out and ruin the surprise.  These are some pictures I received once the cake was cut...

What an ingenious idea!  Kudos to whoever was the first to do this!  And congrats to the happy couple and they're baby boy on the way.
